At the beginning of 2021 the price of fuel in Zakynthos fell to a five-year low:

Diesel 1.2-1.3 Eur/liter

Gasoline unleaded 1.5-1.6 Eur/liter

The price of Diesel was 1.2-1.4 Euro / liter.
The price of 95 gasoline – unleaded was between 1.4 -1.6 Euro / 1 liter.

If you are planning to rent a car in Zakynthos for just a couple of days, then the choice should be an economical car in terms of fuel consumption.
